Arc of Hope's Annual Fundraiser Event
Race for Hope: 5K Run & 1K Walk
September 9th, 8am at Central Park
Please join us for this exciting event to support St. Joan of Arc Uganda School:
When: September 9th, 2017
Where: Central Park, Evanston
(at the park shelter)
Event Schedule:
7:30 am Participants Registration
8:00 am Opening Ceremony
8:30 am 5K Run – Start Line
9:00 am 1K Walk – Start Line
10:30 am Awards ceremony
11:00am Post race refreshments
Arc of Hope, the 501c3 founded to support St. Joan of Arc Uganda School, is hosting a 5K fun run & 1K fun walk to benefit the school founded by Fr. Simon Peter. Our mission heightens awareness of the need to think outside our local community, and to live in gratitude for our own blessings. Our goal is to raise $75,000 to support life-changing educational opportunities and community support to approximately 650+ children and families. Please join us to make this a reality!
There are many ways to get involved. Interested? We need your help!
Option 1: Participate as a runner/walker, and fundraiser. All runners/walkers are fundraisers and are requested to raise $500. Don’t be intimidated! We’ll support you with fundraising tools and a website to simplify the process. If you are interested, please visit our registration web site at
Option 2: Join a team of runners or simply raise funds for the cause.
Option 3: Volunteer to support the race. There are a number of ways that you can help, from pre-event set up to manning event-day activities; we’ll need help.
